Kindergarten 2008
I am the first to say my son is the most beautiful little boy out there...but did someone have to comb his hair forward so you can still see the lines and then say look right here and say cheese! $34 for a few pictures of this? I don't think so.
Here are a few more from Sunday's playing around:
And some more pictures of the real Grant. Yesterday afternoon when he got home from school Gracie was fast asleep so we headed out back.
Soon followed an outfit change so he could run around the yard like it was a track, then get the hose out and happened to get all wet on accident and some attempts at juggling.
Have I mentioned how much I love this boy?
Wish me luck on the plane with wiggly Gracie and be expecting some pictures soon of apples, family, rain, green, friends, and maybe even the coast!

I never pay for school pictures. In fact they are today (a day that John doesn't have school) and they wanted me to bring him in for pictures -- but we're not going. John is going to be disappointed.
I hope you get one clear day so you can attempt the coast.
Hugs,
Amy
Okay, that picture is hilarious. Why would they change his hair? Such a keeper!
LOL LOL LOL
That is a classic.
Everytime I see the travesty that is a school picture (specifically for B), I am always beyond grateful for the pictures you take.
You do wonder why anyone would comb a child's hair that way...
Have a fantastic trip!
And enjoy the compliments. :)
Gotta love school pictures!
Chad had some nice black and white ones taken one year...well they would've been nice had they wiped the chocolate milk mustache off before they snapped the pic and actually waited for a smile! :)
school pictures wouldnt be school pictures unless they were cheesy and made the child and the parents cringe when they end of paying for them. He is handsome none the less!
I totally have to agree about the school pictures, last year Madie's was so not cute I couldn't believe it, this years wasn't too bad, but there is no way I am going to spend that kind of money for Okay pictures, especially when you can take cuter, more realistic ones yourself.
Kim, you take such good pictures of your kids - you gotta have sour one in the bunch, right??? you'll look back and love that you have such an awful picture of cute Grant! :) have fun - wish I was going to Oregon too!
That picture is hilarious! Since when do they change hair styles? Its true what meta said you do have soooo many cute pictures of grant. Are you and gracie going alone? I wish I was going too I miss the coast!
Ha! I only buy the class pictures (even if my kids look horrible)...just so they'll be able to remember who was in their class.
That was awesome. The school picture doesn't even look like Grant! Thanks for the laugh.
Hope you have a great time on your trip! Good luck balancing the babies!
Okay, Kim, I am laughing very hard.
But I do LOVE that picture of you kissing a very smiling, happy Grant.
Have the happiest trip!
Hilarious! You really should go to the school and take the pictures instead!
Maybe it's time to revolutionize the way school pictures are taken...
I'm with you. Why pay for lousy pictures when you can take awesome ones yourself?
I keep getting mailers from photo studios like JC Penny, Sears, The Picture People...and I'm like, yeah right!
