My Boy

Grant has always entertained himself quite well and plays wonderfully on his own. He's been spoiled this past month with one on one with grandmas and lots of attention! This week is back to reality and there he is creating and playing as usual...happy as can be. He probably prefers to have someone to play with, but when we can't always do that he makes the most of it! Here are a few examples all taken in the course of a day earlier this week...

Grant loves cars and we have a lot of old vintage car type decor and toys for his room. This Radio Flyer jacket is from when he was little and it's a size 2T. But, from time to time there he is with it on using it as his "mechanic" jacket to "work" on his roadster. There's something about the first picture I just love. Notice how high the arms are and how it's buttoned in the second picture and yes he's in his pjs!





Later in the day after we had gotten dressed and accomplished a few things he asked to go outside and play in the sandbox. He did and when I went to check on him, this is what I saw:

"Yikes! There are lots of bugs out here!"


Upon further inspection he had told me when he was playing there were lots of scary bugs...so he came inside and found the following that would make a nice "bug catcher" suit. I was impressed even the dental gloves coordinated! On he went fully protected around the yard in search for bugs to terminate and fully prepared for a flash flood!



Finally an evening with bubbles...
