Tate Farms

Yesterday Grant and I went to Tate Farms with his preschool group. It was a hundred times better than last year, as last year we went on a Saturday and there were way too many people there. Yesterday was pleasant and Grant had more than enough time to do what he wanted.

He took an immediate liking to our young tour guide and sat right up front near her on our hay ride asking her questions the whole entire time about tractors and farm machinery. His favorite part of the day was the little tractors you could ride and the hay maze he did all by himself at the very end. I enjoyed the nice weather, orange pumpkins, white cotton and the Fall scenery.

My boys leave this afternoon and my friends arrive tomorrow!!!

I love a couple of things about these photos.

--Whenever our school groups go to the pumpkin patch it is always FREEZING and damp--love that Grant is still wearing shorts

--Love that this means I will be seeing you soon

--Can't wait to see what real cotton looks like -- Birch and I just read/listened to John Grisham's life story that was all about cotton. Not that is some HARD work!

It's crazy for me to have you saying things like "when we went last year." I can't believe it's already been over a year since you've moved. Time flies.

Have a wonderful time with your friends! I hope it is full of late nights, giggles, talks, and calories!
