A Slower Pace...

I am enjoying the slower pace of life...summertime. Sleeping in, nothing too urgent on the calendar, enjoying Grant home all day and the way he and Grace interact, going swimming, watching my flowers bloom, BBQ, staying up late, enjoyed some travel and awaiting visitors...

Now that we're home for a bit, I'm thoroughly enjoying this leisure pace of life. The other day Grant ended the day by saying, I really enjoyed playing with Grace today. She's my best friend. I love to watch these two. Grant and his little puppy, aka Grace, following him around.

I love these pictures....

It's so sweet the things Grant says about Grace...it always warms my heart.

I am also enjoying the slower pace. Perhaps I should say "reveling in it." Summer is a gift (that is, if you don't count mosquitoes, the plague of mankind).

I love the picture on the last post. Made me smile.

I love this post. And I love the slower pace of summer, although this summer has seemed so far from that. The Sunday afternoon picture is precious.

I love it when we have nothing to do and can just hang out together.
