...at least for Grant. Since we're heading out of town this weekend tonight was Grant's last game. I am proud of Grant for trying sports this year, even though he wasn't thrilled about it. He tends to get nervous and doesn't fully understand sometimes what's going on, which adds to his apprehension. He completely gets this from me, unfortunately!! But he improved a lot this season and had a fun last game! I hope next year he'll not worry so much and want to try again. He does however have a great time just playing baseball in the yard or with the neighbor boys, when the pressure is off. He is excited about swimming this summer and another thing to conquer will be riding his bike.
He is a good hitter and improved on his fielding skills.
And here's Little Miss Run Away! Gracie just wants to run and it is such a chore to chase after her at the ball field!

I am glad you put grant in sports I am sure he will be thankful someday. That little miss Grace is so adorable!
We have bike riding (without training wheels) on our agenda this summer too. That is great that Grant did something despite his fears -- that is a lesson for life.

Have a great trip to Oregon! I've been sick the last few days and it's been fun to catch up on your posts. Hopefully the weather in Corvallis will be as wonderful as it is here.
GOOD luck on the BIG race!!! You're amazing!
We'd love to watch Grant play next year. And that Little Miss Run Away . . . we'd love to watch her do that, too!
What a cute ball player! I love when kids explore all sorts of things to see what they really like and don't like!
I totally understand running after little ones at he field! But she is a cutie!
Grant looks so focused and into the game--what a great little ball player! Wonderful that he was willing to keep after it even though it wasn't his favorite thing.
Such a cute little ball player you have. Have a great trip!!
