I truly feel as if I've been on a vacation. It's been so wonderful and relaxing being home, visiting and spending time with family. Someone commented that I've been posting like crazy and I have. The wild rumpus began as all the grandkids filed in (18 people in the house!) and didn't stop until most of them left. We hiked an old growth trail in McDonald Forest with 91 year old grandpa, showed Grant where Mark and I got engaged and where we lived when he was born and hiked up Chip Ross Park, swam at Otter Beach and picnicked at Avery Park near the train and dinosaur bones. I have loved photographing my home town, my family, friends and capturing our time together. As I've mentioned before this blog is my journal and I'm glad to be filling each day with happy things to remember.
My two brothers and their families left yesterday and the rest of us are off to another slice of heaven here in Oregon,
Black Butte Ranch. I will be taking a vacation from the computer for a bit...not from taking pictures though! Check back in a few and I'll have lots to share!
See you soon!

I love your blogging "like crazy" days. Like I commented on Amy's blog...if I were to make you some chocolate cupcakes would you come to my house and take pictures?
Have a wonderful time at Black Butte and can't wait to see the next set of pictures.
see you soon!
I love your blogging frenzy! The butterfly picture is beautiful. Isn't it so much fun to relax and just enjoy vacations? I think I have been bit by a vacation bug...I can't seem to get enough!
Okay, so I love checking your blog for your photos. But please tell me, how much is candid, how much do you set up the photos, and how much time do you spend editing them? There is no way I could get that many wonderful photos without a lot of set up, and editing later! LOVE your work!
Hey girl, you've been busy! Hope you're having a great vacation. Love the butterfly picture.
