Our little Miss is two weeks old today! Has it been that long already? A good friend told me right after she was born, that by two weeks I would have the hang of things....well slowly but surely we're getting there! How I had forgotten what life with a newborn is: wonderful, tiring, exciting, worrisome, lovely and so worth it!
I had dreams of taking millions of pictures of my sweet baby curled this way and that way, you know...you've seen those newborn shots. Well, Grace will have nothing to do with that. She will not be disturbed when she is sleeping (or awake), so my many attempts to curl her up this way and that have been hopeless. I will take what I can get!
I cannot post without saying what a wonderful big brother Grant is! He is so in love with his new baby sister and dotes endlessly on her. He loves to kiss her, smell her, touch her, hold her, talk to her and say "Grant and Grace". Here he is enjoying some play time out back:

I also have to mention that my other half has done a magnificent job on making me feel loved and cared for since arrival of baby. Here are some pics of just one of his sweet gestures:

Lastly, my mom is still here and has been such a great help! I don't know what I would do without her...here is a picture of her and Grace when she was just a few days old:

I love that first picture of Grace, that outfit is too cute! McCoy was the exact same way, he wouldnt curl up and he did not like being messed with. I also love that first picture of Grant, he is just pure 100% boy.
Grace's outfit really is cute. I'm glad things are going well and that Grant is doing so well with the big adjustment of having a sister.
It's been fun to come home from our trip and get caught up on Grace and Grant's last week. She is still so precious and Grant beams with "big brother happiness!"
Forget pretty in pink, how about purple (and green), so cute. Sorry she isn't in to the posing, but they have their own personalilites that is for sure, still some really great shots. Glad things are going well, and that Grant is doing well too. I have been waiting for a picture of her and your mom. I am sure Grandma is in heaven. I can't believe it's already been two weeks.
i agree, grant is beaming! so happy your hubby and mom and making everything for wonderful for you. grace is adorable. love the beautiful art!!!!
I can't believe that it has been two weeks...time really does just FLY by!
I love purple and green together, especially baby outfits (for girls). How wonderful to have your Mom with you still! Grant is too cute and you are so lucky to have a little man around to assist in everything! I LOVE the nursery and the wall hangings are beautiful, were they a handmade gift? Does she sleep in her crib much?
Happy 2 weeks!!
What a cute family! 2 weeks really? Your pictures, family and love are an inspiration to us all!
Happy 2 weeks Grace!
Beautiful!!!
What beautiful kids!! Glad everyone is adjusting. It is a big adjustment, but it is so worth it. I miss those cute little dresses and bows.
Beautiful pics, beautiful family!
That first pic is so cute. Well, lets be honest, they are all cute. Love her outfit! And it obviously doesn't matter that she won't curl up in a ball because your pictures are amazing!!!!
I can just imagine what a great big brother Grant is!! Remember how he loved Kyah? It makes me think of that, only I'm sure times 100!
You have a beautiful family!
I'm glad everything is going so well for you guys. Everytime I get on the computer to check my blogs I think, "I want to see what that little baby girl looks like today" and you alway have the cutedt pictures up. You know the wierd thing though? I love little girls, but I'm starting to kind of want another boy. I don't get it.
I LOVE the shot of Grant with the huge grin and the thumb's up!
And of course, every picture of Miss Grace is gorgeous.
Nothing more stunning that that shot of Grandma and baby. That is a treasure and a keeper.
