Finding New Places...

I have driven past this place countless times and have thought it would make a fun picture. Finally I happened to have the camera with me a couple weeks ago and we pulled over. Grant was very apprehensive about this run down building and when we got out of the car to snap a few...several very large, loud barking dogs (behind a short chain linked fence) from the adjacent trailer were ready to attack. Thus, I hurriedly tried to get Grant to stand and at least get a few....notice the look on his face! I don't think we'll be going back, even though I still think it's a cool back drop. click to enlarge:

I woulnd't have even stuck around for that. I ran away when some alligators moved in to get a closer look at us from behind a fenced dock once. I swooped up the kids and got away as fast as I could. I love the pictures though!!!

I LOVE all the cool backgrounds you have found to take pic's! I either don't know where all the cool places around are at, or I jsut don't see them for what the potential they could have if only I would realize. Of course it might also help if I actually had some photographic artistic talent I suppose... LOL! SO... are you available for Senior pictures this summer??? (after we get the braces off).

I enjoyed reading your Mom's entry. Of corse Lans still has yet to read through it. I thought how great it was that Gage enjoys helping Lans in the garden and is also (so far) a very "helpful and obedient child." And Cole is the one who shows interest in bugs, spdiers, and animals in general. And I really love that both boys enjoy books. I laughed too at the nickname of "Miss Blue Eyes". We call Cole "Blue". You all have very distinct blue eyes. What a nice feature to have.
