Seriously....

...why can't I seem to get things in order by now! I usually consider myself a quite organized, non clutter person and since we've been back from our Christmas vacation I find myself scrambling to rearrange, dejunk and have things orderly. Which is only making a bigger mess....for example: I'm cleaning out my computer room closet only to pull out the HUGE bin of scrap booking stuff I bought and started back in Washington. So, instead of leaving it nicely in it's box, it's now all over the room! A split second thought (Oh I will finally get caught up!) turns into a big mess. As to accommodate for Grant's overload of Christmas gifts I have put most of his toys from the play room in the spare closet upstairs...which all items that were in the closet needed to find a new home in the attic. See how one things leads to another? I am proud of getting more organized Grant's 'school' stuff organized and we have been successful at doing that each day....and while doing so today I eyed my camera bag and decided it was time for a picture break.

I have only hinted at the generosity and surprise Mark had for me this Christmas...one of which was a new lens I had mentioned a few times in passing (kind of wishing on a star type thinking)...I have toyed a little with it, but with the chaos of my house and the frigid cold temperatures outside my camera bag has sat. Until now- I can't believe I took this picture inside with all the shutters closed! So happy.

And Grant's expression...I think he agrees....seriously Mom, start getting some stuff done, or maybe he's just laughing at me! And I haven't been wasting my time on the computer, I still have folders full of Christmas shots to edit!! OK, back to the closet, wish me luck! And if you come to my house, ask to look at my closets, you'll see I've been busy.
