Winter afternoons in Alabama are quite nice. I am loving our new fence, it's so wonderful to sit out and watch Grant with a feeling of more privacy.
As this Christmas season is now directly upon us, I feel the rush and bustle of getting all things Christmas done...in a hurry. In a way I'm glad we're leaving early to Oregon, can give us some breathing room to enjoy family, Grant's b-day and the upcoming holiday.
I am thankful for afternoons like this one, to sit, watch and listen to my boy and enjoy the beauty of the earth.
What's winter like in your neck of the woods?

Well, we are flooding, literally around here. It is raining so much that I can't really get out and do anything. The water line is to the middle of our lawn and I'm preparing to evacuate. We'll see...

Loving that first pic, it looks like it came out of a magazine! Have fun in Oregon for Christmas.
i love that first pic. I just am in love with pics shot into sunlight.
FREEZING!!!
It's cloudy and then sunny. But not as cold as it has been.
I wish I knew what it was like outside. I haven't left the building since before 8 this morning :(
The snow is almost gone that came last Tuesday. It got up to 50+ but it is still too cold for me and the one-year-old.
No more snow here either. Saturday night we were in the midst of a snowstorm and today it was 62 degrees outside. My kids were sad to see the snow gone but I loved the warm sun today!!
Hi, thanks for the nice comments on my blog! I enjoyed looking at yours as well. Love that sun flare shot. =)
