I have set up an interim website/blog and updated my galleries. I would like for you to go and take a peek! To lure you over, I am going to be doing a drawing from my comments and giving away a free 8x10 print of your choice from my Macros or More galleries. Go on over and take a look, click here. Tell me what you think! I will be drawing a name this coming Friday, the 9th.
This has been a process in the works for quite sometime now and I have appreciated the support and gentle push from some family members and friends...change is always scary for me, but have learned it can be good!

I am not leaving a comment for the drawing, although that would be awesome. I just had to look since you did such a beautiful job with our family! I love the pics you took of us! As you can probably tell from my header each time I change it! You have a gift of catching the natural beauty in everything! Your site looks great! Very neat, clean and straight to the point!
Congratulations! This is wonderful!
I have looked at your beautiful 'art' so many times and have sent so many over to browse for themselves. I am always in awe of your colors and perspective. Many best wishes for your new endeavor!
I just peeked again and I LOVE the pictures you chose for your new site! I've already sent your info out...
Looks FANTASTIC! (If I win, how will I ever be able to choose just 1??????) :)
Kim, I have always enjoyed your photos. I look forward to Macro Mondays. You have such a good eye for lighting and detail. I have to agree with jen, how could I be able to choose just one?
Hooray!
Looks great! Is that green swampy tree one in your "More"? That one is my favorite...
I took a peek last night...and was totally wowed! You have some stunning works of art! Nice work. I really like what you got set up!
Congratulations, it looks great. You should be proud of yourself. When you come our way, we'll have to have you take some pictures for us :) !!
You are just AMAZING!!
The only flaw with the site is that you aren't charging near enough, my dear.
Wish I were in Alabama so I could hire you!
These are beautiful and it's about time! I think you'll do an amazing job and the best part is you're doing something you enjoy!
O my gosh, I just love looking at your pictures over and over. I have a wish list started! How many times can I enter per day, heehee. And, your prices are amazing, I'm so hiring you come this spring... and maybe before baby comes.
you are so talented! i'm so proud of you for going forward!
All I can say is...it's about time!
Amy
Kim I too think that you are charging too little. Especially for the time it can take to edit at times. Don't under estimate how good you are. I would say $200-250 at least! People pay good money for nice high quality photos. Kim your talent is incredible and really bar none. Way to go Kim. I just wish I lived closer to you so I could follow you around and learn from the master!
One more thing maybe you need to say up to how many photos you will edit. You can take a lot pic's in 90 minutes. Some people may try to take advantage of that and want you to edit more than you want or have time for. Just a thought.
About time! I have the clouds and Mt. Rainier in my bathroom. Hey, I think I was maybe actually with you when you took those bikes at the Blue Angels? Just wish you didn't live so far away!
So if we leave more than one comment do we get more than one entry in the drawing? ;-)
. . . just in case. :-)
I'm so excited--and I echo everyone's comments that it's ABOUT TIME!
It looks great! Good luck on your new adventure!
One last comment for the day...
actually a question...
is there a prize for second place? :)
Wow! Looks like everyone is coming out of the woodwork...including me :) You don't have to put me into your drawing, but my hubby and I would love to have you be our photographer in the Spring! You are a VERY talented lady!
Nice gallery - I really liked the website design. It showcased the pics nicely. Loved the frog and the covered bridge among others.
Hi Kim, I am Nancy Clark's (Worth) sister in law (married to Kevin) and have been stalking your blog for months. I've never had the courage to leave a comment. Your photography makes me want to live life more fully. I know that might sound cheesy, but you bring life to life. Thank you. I feel like I know you through your photography and yet we've never spoken. I suppose a picture is worth a thousand words. . .

I am realizing that I am the Anonymous way up at the top. I did have a question though. Where do you print your pictures, I've been wondering for awhile :).
(this time I'll leave my name..)

Hooray for you Kim!! And I agree with another commenter, charge more.
Perfect! I can't say more. I'm proud of you!
So excited! It looks great.
I hope you add more of your photography as you get time... one that I particularly love is the old blue tractor from Tate Farms looking through the steering wheel (I think). I remember being awed by that picture
Kim - the site is AMAZING! You're an incredible photographer - and your price is extremely reasonable! Any chance you'll be coming to Oregon? hehe
Speaking from someone with a tight budget (per hubby), don't start charging more just yet, please!!
Congrats! What a big jump, probably scary, but I know that it is perfect for you! You are an amazing photographer!
Good for you, Kim! Your photos are fabulous. The frog ones remind me of the little frogs that lived around our old house, including in the fireplace for awhile!

GOOD FOR YOU KIM! I bet it's intimidating and nerve-racking to put yourself out there but good for you. The most rewarding experiences are those that stretch us. Please let us know how it's going!
Look at your turn out so far.....you're going to do well! I'm very excited for you!
I'm not sure what the heck happened, but my original comment is no longer appearing in the comment section and I certainly don't want to miss out on the drawing!!!! You're awesome!
