This & That

My boys are back and I could of eaten up Grant at the airport. All day yesterday we kept saying to each other, "I'm so glad you're back", but what makes me equally happy is the GREAT time he had with his dad visiting Great Grandma Lee and Irene and her family in California. While he was gone he barley wanted to talk to me on the phone, because he was playing with his cousins or Grandma was reading him a book. All day yesterday he kept telling me about his adventures (Disneyland, I'm sure not being at the top of his favorites...he had fun, but lines were loooong and nothing beats playing with other kids!) Many of you know Mark has the gift of gap and he has thoroughly told me about their time in California; I told him to blog about it so those memories are written down in his words, not mine. I'm still smiling from when my friends were here, it really was a great rejuvenating weekend. We're getting back to a routine around here. Yesterday I pulled out all the boxes in our spare room thinking to de-junk a little and I found most of the "missing items" from the move...which were mostly Grant's. The soldier set kept him occupied for quite sometime. We are getting a fence built and hopefully that will be done this week or next, posts are all up! Mark has plans to work on putting in a deck while his parent's are here next week as well. It's fun to see the house and yard taking the shape we had planned for it.

It's raining! Those of you who don't know me well, let me just tell you this is a comfort....being a true Oregonian I love the rain! There is something melancholy and comforting about it. So I thought it would be appropriate to leave two pictures for the rain loving in all of us, but more so enjoying the brightness after.....
