Yesterday evening the lighting was beautiful. We went outside to wait for Mark to get home from work. Our waiting usually begins early in the late afternoon....then phone calls to Mark (usually made by Grant) to see when he's coming home....then finally he arrives and we all celebrate! It is much nicer when we're all together!
The neighborhood is coming along...here is a view, I'm sitting in our driveway looking out on our street. Evenings are so quiet and peaceful here without all the construction going on!

I love the first picture (okay, I love them all, but...). His little face just looks so forlorn. It looks like he's thinking: "When oh when will my daddy be home?"
Everytime I see your pictures, I want to load up little man and come right over so he can be another subject in your brilliant world.
Will you bring your camera tomorrow? Pretty please?
I understand the wondering when daddy will be home. I love Grant's face. I think mine is that way when I'm waiting for Aaron to be home.
oooo, I love sun flares.
Dad's are so great!!!
Our waiting-for-Dad ritual is very similar, and often also includes hiding to scare Daddy. I love to see the anticipation (that I also feel).
We don't have a waiting-for-Dad ritual yet but I sure anticipate Victor coming home myself! I have to say I loved these pictures, I am not sure why but Grant's shadows caught my eye-I really liked it!
I, also, have to say you have peaked my interest...While reading and leaving a comment for Angela I read your comment, interested?!
Does Grant think he is a model? I love all of your pictures of him!! Looks like a very nice neighborhood!
