Severe Weather Alert

HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL REACH AROUND 100 DEGREES BOTH WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY AFTERNOONS...WITH HEAT INDICES OF AROUND 105 DEGREES COMMON. THESE VALUES MAY APPROACH 110 DEGREES IN A FEW LOCATIONS...MAKING OUTDOOR EXPOSURE DANGEROUS. LIMITED OVERNIGHT COOLING...WITH LOWS IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S WILL ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DANGER FROM THIS LENGTHENING HEAT WAVE. THIS ADVISORY MAY NEED AN EXTENSION THROUGH FRIDAY OR SATURDAY IF CURRENT FORECASTS STAY ON TRACK.

HEAT EXHAUSTION...HEAT CRAMPS...OR IN EXTREME CASES...HEAT STROKE MAY RESULT FROM PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO THESE CONDITIONS. CHECK FREQUENTLY ON THOSE WHO MAY BE AT RISK...SUCH AS CHILDREN...THE ELDERLY...AND PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC AILMENTS.


Yikes!! That's what we're dealing with here in Alabama!

I'm feeling for you, we had those kid of temps here, for a while, it was HOT. Hope you beat the heat.

We're in the same heat situation up here too. The apartment pool felt so good this afternoon! I love the water shot- amazing you can get that with your camera.

Our record breaking heat finally came to end (this time). And it has been wonderful, about 85-90. I hate when it is too hot to do anything, we ate out almost everynight so that I didnt have to turn anything on to cook and heat the house up more.
I am sorry that it is so hot there, but I assume you have AC, so that always helps.

I love the second shot. I am hoping one of your next photo tips will be how you did the 4th shot. I love that shot and would love to learn "how to..." Is it all with the camera OR is it a photoshop edited one?

Love the fourth one too. Funny, I took some similar pictures a while back, but didn't post them. I guess playing with the hose is a universal age treat when it's hot!
