We had a nice quiet day today. Grant has a little head cold, so we took it easy. I realized that since we got the sprinkler system, eliminating my job of watering all day long and rotating hoses we don't get outside as much. So this afternoon we headed out to check the bulb garden, survey what yard work I need to gear myself up to do in the coming days and week and to let Grant play with his trucks of course!
After taking this shot below, I bent down to see what Grant had in his mouth (click image to enlarge)...he hadn't just eaten anything I thought? Sure enough it was the red dirt so abundant here in Alabama! Now how did that get there?....
...Surely by doing this!

I am glad it was just dirt, I was preparing myself for something worse. Remember your post about the lovely creature you inhaled while jogging?

i'm so glad your sprinklers are in! makes it easier!! we are still waiting for our grass to grow in - hopefully next summer we'll have a real back yard.

I love dirt. That dirt is a really great color. your backyard looks great. Grant is so handsome.
