Child Withheld From School
In the mail today I received a "Notice and Demand for Payment" from a county court in Oregon for $307.00! I couldn't figure out what this meant, called Mark who told me to call the number on the paper (duh!). I called and the lady I spoke with asked me if I had any withstanding payments from the court and I said no. She asked if I had filed for divorce, I again said no. This wasn't very funny to me. She did some research and said it was for withholding my child from school! I explained how I hadn't even lived in Oregon the past few years and my only child is four years old. Thanks to the other "Kimberly" who's given me a bad name! Luckily the lady was nice about it and removed this notice and assured me nothing was linked to my SS number!

That is crazy. Aaron got pulled over a couple of months ago. The officer didn't give him a ticket he just asked if Aaron knew a Cami Hale. The officer said there was a warranty out for an arrest. Aaron asured him it wasn't me. I was at home with 4 kids and pregnant. I'm glad that you got it figures out.
Can you beieve of all things it was for withholding your child from school! Something you would never do. Not that you would get a divorce or owe the court money either. That is too crazy! I'm glad it got resolved. My brother Brad went to start his new job last Monday and they told him his SSN came up with somebody else's name when they checked it. So he had to go to the SS office and get a paper saying he is who he is. Weird huh.
It's only a $307.00 fine for withholding a child from school? It ought to be much more then that!
