Easter

This weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to listen to leaders of our church, including the prophet Gordon B. Hinckley speak at general conference. Twice a year conference is broadcast over the Internet, television and radio for all to hear. It's always spiritually uplifting and rejuvenating. It was refreshing to hear of reminders of the meaning of Easter, the focus on our Savior and His resurrection. My thoughts are on Easter this week, for obvious reasons. I am trying to plan a meaningful FHE (family home evening) for Grant with the focus on Easter. Maybe it's because I'm a parent now and have the responsibility of teaching my child, but it seems I have been more aware of these things the past few years, hoping that values of love, kindness and spiritual understanding glue strong to his little heart.

While we're on the topic of Easter, we had bought Grant an Easter suit. I went out today to take some photos as I know Sunday morning will roll around and we're always in a rush to get to church by 9 a.m. I assumed there would be little to no time for pictures. Plus, the forecast has rain and clouds in the near future, I thought I'd be safe with the sunshine today. Here's a sneak peak, they'll be more to come:

What a handsome model of a son you have! Is it hard to get him to pose? He looks so natural- I think you might have to watch out in the years to come. I LOVE THE SUIT and tie- really, he couldn't look more handsome. Are you sure he's only 4?

Handsome devil!! I went to get that tie from the store, and they were all out. I saw it online and thought it was to die for. Can't wait to see more.

I have never bought John a suit -- they are so cute! You are inspiring me to dress up the boys a little more.
