We went out to the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Huntsville this morning. Grant was very excited and had his green hat on. We checked out a famous hardware store downtown first and then went across the street to watch the festivities. It certainly didn't exceed my expectations by any means. I have to say that living in two towns that gave great parades: Corvallis, OR (pop. 50,000)and the battle of the bands parade at OSU and Sumner, WA (pop. 7,000) and it's Daffodil parade....which seriously lasted hours...bands, floats, cars, motorcycles, dogs, more floats and more bands. Well, Huntsville (pop. 200,000) didn't even come close! One band, some bag pipes, some roller skaters, about 5 motor cycles and a few cars...lasted about 15 minutes. But, Grant enjoyed himself, got some necklaces and it was just good wholesome family fun!
We stopped by the house of course and the black shutters are up! The dry wall was all taped/glued or whatever it is they do and the inside doors are out in the garage. A lots been done, but a lot needs to be done....we are crossing our fingers it takes them the four weeks they have left! We (mostly me) have been furniture shopping this past week and I'm starting to feel a bit of anxiety about moving everything in, even though we have movers!

Kim, you look fabulous -- I always love it when you include yourself in pictures. From the photos it looks like a really cool parade. I didn't realize Huntsville was so big. Can't wait to see it in person.

GREAT GREAT PICS!! I'm glad you got to go to a parade, even if it is no daffodil parade! I too love it when you have pics that you are in.
The shutters look great! Lovin the house!
I love these pics. They look like ones that would be posted on the front page of the newspaper. I love the one with the roller skates. Very cool. Kim you look so adorable. Always dressed so cute!
Hi Kim, I love your pictures and also LOVE it when you include pictures of yourself. I love seeing pictures of my parents throughout the years and know your kids will too so keep it up! I love the black shutters. I want a house someday with shutters, I think they really make a house.
How fun! I, too (along with everyone else) love seeing pictures with you in them! You look great and I am just not sure what you were talking to me about needing a gym! :)! Glad to know Sumner has one of the best parades! I guess I will go and watch it this year to see what the big talk is all about :)! I need to think of some traditions to start for St. Patty's Day!
I'd have to agree with everyone--you do look FABULOUS!! I love your hairstyle on you. I am really needing to go to the "Clip and Curl" (remember what movie that is from?). Any tummy yet?
