My Friend Cami

I met Cami right after I graduated from high school, her family had recently moved to Corvallis. I felt like I was in elementary school as my mom told me to call Cami and invite her to the U-ward, but of course wanted a friend so took the suggestion and little did I know a wonderful friendship would form. Cami will forever be a part of my life, particularly my University Ward experience. We immediately became friends and went to every possible University Ward function along with another friend, Heidi. FHE, dances, beach trips, auctions, institute, etc....What great times! We took a road trip to Idaho and Utah one summer and I remember Cami confessed her love for Aaron, now her husband. I remember their courtship, wedding and late nights hanging out with the newly weds and then of course their first baby. She is now expecting her fifth and looks fantastic! Cami and Aaron played an integral part in my engagement to Mark (as told here in Mark's version of our engagement). As what happens to all of us life continued we got busy, more kids came, I got married, different wards, moves, but we've always remained friends. I love that I can come home to Corvallis and call her up, go over to her house, have kids play and just catch up with life....laughing about the funny things past and present. Thanks Cami for letting us come and stay a while...

Grant was in heaven playing with Cami's boys and toys!
