Stormy

I still stand in confusion of the weather here. It's been sunny and in the 70's this past week, perfect if you ask me. Then yesterday comes the winds and a cold front....perfect tornado combination I've been told. The wind pounded all night! It was pretty rough, when I opened the door to take the wreath off (it was getting a whipping) I stepped outside; it was a very warm, violent wind, very eerie! To say I got any sleep is an understatement. I guess it blew all that warm away and continues to blow, but it's COLD now! There are white caps on the lake if you look closely. I took this picture this morning off the deck. I exaggerated the colors, but still dramatic none the less.

Happy December 1st! We had loads of packages arrive yesterday from the grandparents and Grant is beside himself in anticipation! So, we will be decorating our humble abode today and making some yummy smelling tree ornaments.

My mom sent me a book of stories and carols to read/sing every day this month. Today's Christmas carol is: "Angels We Have Heard on High".... Happy singing or humming!

It is just gorgeous there. I hope you stay safe! I've never experienced anything different. Your families are so on top of things to have your gifts to you so soon. How is Grant going to be able to wait?
