Grant helped make an apple pie, it smells so good! He wanted me to put an apple on top like Papa does, but I couldn't quite craft one; a heart will have to do. Now we have the pumpkin cake baking--the boys are out running errands so it's very peaceful....I have time to reflect on what I am thankful for. I love this time of year and all the thoughts, smells and outings it brings. I feel blessed to have my family; my two boys and my family in Oregon...I love you! We are thinking of you at this time.

Kim, I just love that photo of Grant! You should get it framed and put it in his room. It's amazing how sometimes B and W is nice, but other times color just looks amazing.
