We had dinner out on the patio tonight; it was a pleasant, peaceful evening. Grant assumed his position under the Birch and was totally in his element. As I watched him under the tree-his favorite digging spot in the yard it made me wonder if he'll have a memory of this? They say first memories are around age three and I'd like to think that he's already started a card catalog of memories. My heart was a little sad thinking of the reality of moving away from what is familiar to him and to us. Even though I have many pictures of Grant digging, I had to capture it again.
