It's been a rough few weeks of traveling and getting things ready for our move. I think Grant (and parents) have had just about enough. Today was wonderful, because it was a "normal" day. Grant and I got up, went for our run, did our morning routine, ran some errands and then Grant chose to go to The Children’s Museum in Tacoma; one of his favorite places. He played until his heart was content. It was a treat for Mom because one of the nice young workers spent some time playing with Grant individually.
OK...garden shoes? Grant loves wearing them in the "gardening and market section" of the museum. Notice of course they are on the wrong feet. I had forgotten to mention in my writing about Alabama that garden shoes are very popular. We saw them everywhere being worn by adults, male and female and children of all sizes-even at church! Come to find out they are named, "crocks?" Did I get it right? Now, I love a good pair of garden shoes and in fact mine are the most comfortable shoes I own, but I prefer to use them for what they were made, gardening.
